Designed for property protection and non-life-safety applications, the 5601A combines fixed temperature and rate-of-rise detection in a durable, low-profile housing.
The detector activates at 135°F (57°C) or when a rapid temperature increase of approximately 15°F per minute is detected, helping provide early warning in rapidly developing fire conditions. The rate-of-rise element is restorable, allowing convenient field testing without replacing the detector.
The plain housing design makes the 5601A especially suitable for residential applications while maintaining commercial-grade reliability. An external collector drops upon activation, allowing quick visual identification of the activated detector.
Designed for installation flexibility, the 5601A mounts easily to:
