Smoke Detection, Visual Warning and Voice Alerts in One Unit

The Kidde P4010ACLEDSCA is a hardwired, 2-in-1 photoelectric smoke alarm and LED strobe designed to provide audible, visual and spoken warnings. Its powerful 177-candela strobe helps alert occupants who are deaf or hard of hearing, while the bilingual voice warning clearly announces the detected danger.

This alarm connects directly to a 120V AC power supply. A sealed 10-year lithium battery provides backup power for the smoke-alarm functions, eliminating routine battery replacement during the alarm’s service life.

Bright, Synchronized LED Strobe

The low-profile strobe uses ten Cree LEDs and flashes once per second when smoke is detected. When installed with compatible Kidde P4010ACLEDSCA or P4010ACLEDSCOCA units, interconnected strobes synchronize automatically during an alarm condition.

Bilingual Voice Warning

When smoke is detected, the unit sounds three long beeps and announces “Fire! Feu!” repeatedly. If activated by an interconnected carbon-monoxide alarm, it provides a separate flash and voice-warning pattern.

Important: This model does not detect carbon monoxide. CO warnings are provided only when the unit is connected to a compatible carbon-monoxide or combination alarm.

Hardwired Interconnection

The alarm can interconnect with up to 24 compatible Kidde devices, of which up to 18 may be initiating alarms. The quick-connect plug with a 6-inch pigtail helps simplify installation in a standard electrical box.

Convenient Hush and Test Control

The multifunction strobe-dome button tests the alarm electronics and operation. Its Hush feature can temporarily silence qualifying nuisance alarms for approximately nine minutes.
