The BRK SC9120BA Hardwired Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm combines smoke and CO detection in one 120V direct-wire unit with a 9V battery backup. The battery backup keeps the alarm protecting your home if building power fails temporarily.

Designed with an ionization smoke sensor for fast-flaming fires and an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor, the SC9120BA interconnects with up to 12 compatible smoke alarms and up to 6 compatible smoke/CO combination alarms. When one interconnected alarm is triggered, all connected units sound to provide an early warning throughout the property.

Indicator lights on the face of the unit show whether smoke or carbon monoxide has been detected, while an 85-decibel siren provides a clear, loud warning. The alarm also features an alarm latch, low-battery latch, 10-year end-of-life warning and a single test/silence button.
